Daniel 9:7 says, "I kept looking until the thrones were set up and the Ancient of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow and the hair of His head like pure wool." Christ is not described as the ancient of years, for that would signify time, but the Ancient of Days, which indicates He is ageless, timeless and changeless. His glory and beauty are not diminished or wrinkled by the passing of years. Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." None of His attributes grow stale or lose their perfectness. We never have nor ever will serve a weak Savior. One of the greatest encouragements of this life is that this is the Christ we serve. One who has always met our needs and always will be able to. The Jesus of the Bible is the Christ we serve today. In times of difficulty and adversity we need to look to the changeless, perfect, eternal, all-powerful Ancient of Days.
