Faithfully Deliver the Message

Scripture clearly indicates that the Holy Spirit is the One, not you or I, who draws sinners convincingly to Christ. But this drawing is not apart from the means which He has ordained. God has chosen to give the internal call of salvation by means of the external call through the written or proclaimed Word. Jesus commanded "that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations" (Luke 24:47). Every Christian is under the same orders from Heaven. You and I do not know whom God will call. We must faithfully preach the Gospel and trust the ministry of His effectual calling to the sovereign Spirit of God. By proclaiming the incomparable Good News to all, we have the privilege of becoming instruments of the Spirit and agents of God's redemptive purposes. May this task of delivering the Gospel message be our constant joy and delight.
